Family/Unpaid Caregiver Support Services

Family and caregiver support services provide education, coaching, and resources to enhance the
caregiver’s ability to effectively support the child.
Scope of Service:
- Training in behavioral strategies and interventions
- Coaching on communication and daily routines
- Guidance on implementing therapeutic recommendations
- Emotional support and caregiver stress management
- Resource navigation and connection to community supports

To build caregiver capacity, improve family functioning, and promote consistency of care.
Health and Wellness
Service Rate:

Service Description:
Health and Wellness services support the child’s overall physical, emotional, and mental well-being through skill development and routine reinforcement.
Scope of Service:
- Personal hygiene and self-care routines
- Nutrition and healthy lifestyle education

- Reinforcement of therapy goals (OT, PT, Speech)

Respite Care

Service Description:
Respite Care services provide temporary relief to primary caregivers by ensuring the health, safety, and supervision of the child. Services are delivered by a qualified Consumer Support Specialist (CSS) and are non-clinical in nature. Respite supports the child’s daily routines and needs while maintaining a safe and structured environment. Services are provided under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or similarly qualified licensed professional, as appropriate to the child’s needs.
Scope of Service:
- Supervision to ensure the child’s safety and well-being
- Support with activities of daily living (e.g., eating, hygiene, routines)
- Engagement in age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate activities
- Implementation of established routines and caregiver-directed supports
- Monitoring for behavioral, emotional, or medical needs and responding as trained
- Providing temporary relief to primary caregivers

To ensure the child’s safety and well-being while providing caregiver relief, supporting family stability and continuity of care.
Respite Camps

$75.00 per one hour unit - hours vary for each camp provided

Service Description:
Adventure Camps at Little Oaks provide structured, community-based recreational and skill-building opportunities for children and youth enrolled in the Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program. Camps are held at the Little Oaks Cambridge Campus and offer a safe, inclusive environment where participants engage in supervised activities designed to promote socialization, independence, community participation, and personal growth. The daily rate includes all meals, snacks, supplies, materials, and camp activities.
Scope of Service:
- Supervised recreational and educational camp activities designed to support individual strengths, interests, and goals.
- Opportunities for social interaction, peer engagement, teamwork, and relationship-building.
- Structured activities that promote communication, self-help, problem-solving, and independent living skills.
- Outdoor adventures, sensory experiences, creative arts, games, and community inclusion activities.
- Staff support to facilitate participation, safety, and successful engagement in camp programming.
- Provision of all meals, snacks, activity materials, and supplies during the camp day.
- Activities and supports delivered at the Little Oaks Cambridge Campus in accordance with the
participant's CLTS service plan.
Service Goal:
To provide meaningful recreational and community inclusion opportunities that enhance social, emotional, and functional development while promoting independence, self-confidence, skill development, and overall quality of life for children and youth participating in the Children's Long-Term Support Program.
